When everything you've been dreaming of starts to materialize.
1
Excavation
If you're building a brand new custom home, then you'll need to move earth and rock before laying the foundation. This is the first step in any new home's construction process.
2
Foundation
This is the most important element of your new home as it provides the structure with stability. Foundations can be made of conventional concrete or insulated concrete forms for improved energy efficiency.
3
Framing
You can think of framing as the skeleton of your home. A building frame provides the starting point for all remaining aspects of the structure. We can use wood frame, ICF, SIP panels and more.
4
Roofing
There are many types of roofing materials available today. You'll have the opportunity to design a roof that works best with your style and needs. Choose from metal, asphalt, rubber and even clay tiles.
5
Rough-Ins
During this stage, we'll work with you to determine the location of various electrical, plumbing and mechanical elements, such as switches, valves, registers and lights, to suit your needs.
6
Insulation & Drywall
We use efficient insulation materials to ensure you have the most cost-effective and eco-friendly home possible. Options include spray foam, batten and blown-in insulation.
7
Exterior Finishes
The exterior design of your custom home is what you'll be showing off to the world. At this stage, we'll make sure all exterior elements match your initial design requests before adding the finishing touches to the inside.
8
Interior Finishes
We'll work with the interior designer and yourself to ensure colours, cabinetry, built-ins, and other interior finishes are exactly as you envisioned.
