I enjoy being part of the design process and seeing our clients' faces when the first sketches are drawn, and being able to improve the constructability of those designs from the get-go.
Sunset Homes’ founder and President has brought a rich cultural influence and flavour to our custom building projects. Pedro has spent time all over Canada, the United States, and South America.
Pedro has a Masters in Sciences, a degree in Engineering with a minor in Architecture, and has been a practicing engineer in Canada for over ten years.
He completed the Project Management program with the University of Calgary in 2015, and has been instrumental in making Sunset Homes Calgary’s bespoke home builder.
Pedro is a seasoned traveller, and in his spare time, he enjoys spending time outdoors.
Nicole Sophia has been working at Sunset Homes since 2019, where she started as a Project Controller. In 2021, Nicole Sophia transitioned into the Chief Financial Officer role. Prior to working at Sunset, Sophia accumulated 11 years experience in the oil and gas industry as a Purchaser and Supply Chain Manager.
Her keen eye for detail makes her a key part of our process. On her free time, Nicole enjoys anything related to art and painting and spending time with her dog and traveling around the world.
Ryley joined the Sunset Team in 2021 and has been working as a Project Controller. Ryley is responsible for Accounts Payables and Receivables and collaborates closely with the Project Managers throughout the course of each custom home build. She is eager to support our team and clients in the process of building dream homes.
Ryley holds a BBA in General Management with a minor in Finance and Economics. Ryley’s financial background ensures a strong attention to detail and organization. In her spare time, Ryley enjoys showing her horses in cutting horse competitions and spending time in the mountains
Nella has been part of the Sunset Team since 2016. She started coordinating our Marketing and Customer Relationship where her collaboration, attention to detail, and coordination skills quickly became key to our Project Management team. Since the end of 2021, she has been working as the Construction Manager, supporting the team in building dream homes
Nella holds a degree in Management from the University of Lethbridge and a master’s degree in Translation. She fills her spare time with reading and is dedicated to her love of yoga.
Mike joined the sunset team in 2022. He spent the previous few years working in architectural construction administration and quality control. Mike is an Architectural technologist graduate from SAIT who started his career in commercial project coordination specializing in pre-engineered steel buildings.
Mike is excited to divert his focus to the residential side of construction and apply his experience to executing high-quality custom homes.
Chris joined the Sunset team in 2022 as a Project Coordinator. Prior to Sunset, Chris spent 8 years working in Calgary’s oil and gas industry as a Professional Engineer. He has a Bachelor’s in Applied Science from the University of British Columbia in Kelowna. Chris is excited for his new chapter in the construction industry, helping homeowners build their custom dream homes.
In his spare time, Chris enjoys skiing, biking, hiking and travelling the world.
Italo has been with the Sunset Homes team since 2021, working as a Site Supervisor. He has accumulated many years of experience in the construction industry working as an estimator and assisting project managers in monitoring on-site construction activities. His attention to detail and eagerness to work with homeowners, colleagues, and trades are strong assets in the custom home build process.
Italo moved to Calgary from Colombia in 2021. On the weekends, Italo loves exploring the city and surrounding areas with his family.
